I have taught a wide variety of subjects in the short time I have been a teacher. I started as a substitute teacher, then got a job teaching middle school two years ago. So far I have taught science, P.E. and Language Arts at the middle school level.
I am looking forward to working with a group of educators that are all interested in sharing what they know in the interest of improving what we all can provide to our students.
While I am comfortable using technology, I have been slow to join social networking sites. Before this summer I generally communicated through e-mail.

do you like to eat avocados as well? I like to hear rain on a roof too, but it got a little old this year. And I hate to hear dogs that bark, bark, bark!
Barking dogs are my nemesis right now. When I went to confront my neighbor about her mutt that barks for hours straight in the middle of the night, she was completely unapologetic. "We're moving in July." She said, and was irritated that I would even bother her with such things. How I hope it is July 1st!
I was never so happy as when a neighbor dog went deaf. She quit barking when she couldn't hear herself. That was a relief.
I wonder how guilty I'd feel about using one of those As-Seen-on-TV gadgets that purports to annoys a dog subsonically into silence. . . .

Now I know (after viewing your glog) that we share a love of cats. You'll have to meet my kitty Charlie sometime. I rescued him from the SPCA last summer. He is big and affectionette.
